Our stay at Chamodya Home Stay in Ella was one of the best during our time in Sri Lanka. The location provided stunning views of the valley, making it the perfect base for our hiking trips to Ella Rock and Nine Arch Bridge. The Deluxe room with a panoramic terrace and hammock was a dream come true. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. She also organized a reliable driver for our journey to the South. If I ever return to Sri Lanka, I will definitely choose Chamodya Home Stay again.

By far one of our favorite places during our vacation! The host at this homestay was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and dinner that she prepared were absolutely amazing. And the view from the balcony was absolutely spectacular, especially watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning. The location was also very convenient, just a short 10-minute walk to restaurants and shops in town.

I had an incredible stay at Chamodya in Ella. The views from the terrace were breathtaking and it was hard to tear myself away to explore. The breakfast was delicious, especially the egg hoppers, and the rice and curry dinner was amazing. The room was spacious and well-designed, with a clean bathroom and good shower. The location, though a 10-minute walk from the village, was worth it for the stunning views. The owner, Nilu, was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to go back and enjoy a cup of tea on that terrace again.

I had the most amazing stay at Chamodya Home Stay! The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, overlooking Ella rock and the Raveena waterfall. The host was incredibly kind and even prepared breakfast for us early in the morning so we could climb Ella rock. The food was the best I've had in Sri Lanka, especially the egg hoppers and coconut and honey pancakes. The location was also great, just a short walk away from all the restaurants in Ella. I highly recommend this hotel for its breathtaking views and warm hospitality.

The breathtaking views from this hilltop homestay were absolutely stunning! I could wake up to the magnificent mountains and lush greenery every morning, and even enjoy them from the comfort of my bed or the terrace. the sunrise over the mountains was a sight to behold. the Sri Lankan breakfast served here was simply delicious, and the delicate flavor of the tea was a perfect start to the day. the location was also great, with easy access to town and a peaceful atmosphere.

the lack of air conditioning made the room feel a bit humid, even though the cooler air outside was refreshing. there was no shampoo provided in the bathroom.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chamodya. The room was fantastic with an awesome view through Ella Gap and of the waterfall. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious with very generous portions. Highly recommend staying here.
